J'utilise mon portable tous les jours pour envoyer des messages et écouter de la musique. J'aime les réseaux sociaux parce que je peux parler avec mes amis, mais parfois c'est dangereux. Hier soir, j'ai regardé des vidéos drôles et j'ai joué à un jeu en ligne avec mon cousin. C'était amusant, mais j'ai passé trois heures sur mon écran ! À l'avenir, je vais passer moins de temps en ligne. Je voudrais aussi acheter un nouvel ordinateur pour mes études.
I use my phone every day to send messages and listen to music. I like social media because I can talk to my friends, but sometimes it's dangerous. Last night I watched funny videos and I played an online game with my cousin. It was fun, but I spent three hours on my screen! In the future I am going to spend less time online. I would also like to buy a new computer for my studies.

Il est indéniable que la technologie a rendu notre vie plus facile. Grâce à Internet, on peut apprendre, travailler et rester en contact avec nos proches. Néanmoins, je crois que les réseaux sociaux peuvent nuire à la confiance des jeunes, car on se compare sans cesse aux autres. L'année dernière, quelqu'un a piraté mon compte et a envoyé des messages bizarres à tous mes contacts. Depuis ce jour-là, je fais beaucoup plus attention à mes mots de passe. Par ailleurs, je pense que les écoles devraient apprendre aux élèves à reconnaître les fausses informations. Dans vingt ans, les voitures rouleront sans conducteur et l'intelligence artificielle fera une partie de notre travail. Bien que cela me fasse un peu peur, je suis sûr que nous trouverons des solutions si nous utilisons la technologie de manière responsable.
It is undeniable that technology has made our lives easier. Thanks to the internet, we can learn, work and stay in touch with our loved ones. Nevertheless, I believe that social media can harm young people's confidence, because we constantly compare ourselves to others. Last year someone hacked my account and sent strange messages to all my contacts. Since that day I have been much more careful with my passwords. Furthermore, I think schools should teach pupils to recognise fake news. In twenty years, cars will drive without a driver and artificial intelligence will do part of our work. Although that scares me a little, I am sure we will find solutions if we use technology responsibly.
